Dr. David Hogan, inaugural Calgary site investigator, retires 

Dr. David Hogan, site principal investigator at the University of Calgary and lead of the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA) Clinical Working Group, has retired.  

Dr. Hogan has been with the CLSA since the study’s planning and development phase and has dedicated his career to enhancing healthcare and quality of life for older adults.  

Throughout his professional journey, he has earned a reputation as an engaged and compassionate clinician and has gained recognition as a national leader in geriatric medicine. Through his widely cited research, impactful teaching, supervision, and mentorship, as well as his own clinical practice, Dr. Hogan has made significant contributions to the care of the aging population both in Alberta and across the country. 

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Dr. Hogan for his tremendous contributions to the CLSA and wish him all the best in the next phase of his life.
