Cognitive decline over time across health conditions: the role of cognitive reserve

Cognitive function in older adults may be affected by different health conditions, such as traumatic brain injuries, post-traumatic stress disorder, cancer treatments, cardiac events, etc. This project will examine the extent to which these health conditions impact cognitive function over time, as well as whether certain factors (e.g., social support, leisure activities, education level) may help to preserve cognitive function in people with these conditions.
