Understanding employment and retirement experiences: comparisons between Atlantic Canada and the rest of Canada

As the population ages and people are working longer, there is a need for more research on the employment and retirement experiences of older Canadians, with a particular focus on Atlantic Canada. This study will focus on participants engaged in paid labour, participants without labour force involvement, and retired participants. The three main research questions are: what do older workers look like in Atlantic Canada compared to the rest of Canada; what do participants who are out of the labour market but not retired look like in Atlantic Canada compared to the rest of Canada; and what do retirement participants look like in Atlantic Canada compared to the rest of Canada?
