Project Summary

The aim of this program of research is to examine the associations of genetic and environmental risk factors with metabolism- and aging-related traits and diseases. The goals of this program of research are (a) to better understand the biologic basis of metabolism and its variation throughout adulthood, and (b) to understand the etiology of diseases (specifically cardiometabolic disorders, musculoskeletal, and neurologic including depression) in participants of the Canadian Longitudinal Study of Aging (CLSA).
