Cognition data available from CLSA

Version 2.0 of the CLSA dataset, which includes the cognition data for the 21,241 participants who completed their baseline assessments through telephone interviews, is now ready for release.

The cognition data include the raw data, test scores and meta data indicating the quality of the recording, and any anomalies noted for the Rey I and Rey II Auditory Verbal Learning Test, the Animal Fluency Test, and the Mental Alternation Test.

The CLSA has now completed baseline data collection on a total of 51,338 participants. Data from more than 30,000 participants who have had in-home interviews and visited a data collection site for phsyical assessments will become available in 2016.

The CLSA information about the biological, medical, social, psychological, lifestyle and economic aspects of people's lives will be available to approved Canadian public-sector researchers.
