Laura Lawson

Communications Manager

As communications manager, Laura Lawson is responsible for developing, managing and implementing the national communications strategy for the CLSA. She holds a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto, studied journalism at Humber College and the University of Iowa, and has a post-graduate diploma in public relations from McMaster University . Prior to joining the CLSA, Laura worked as a public relations editor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University. She has also held reporting and editing positions at several newspapers, including the Guelph Mercury, Hamilton Spectator and Waterloo Region Record.
